Shri N.K. Singh is a 1961-batch IPS officer. Receipt, Police medal for meritorious service, President Police Medal for Distinguished service & ‘Manav Seva Pursskar’, 1998, by Rotary Int ernational for crusade against corruption, both during and after service. During his first stint – from 1972 to 1980 – he arrested Mrs Gandhi in the Jeep scandal case in October 1977. The first time a former Indian prime minister has gone to prison. In the same year, he prosecuted Sanjay Gandhi and V.C. Shukla in the Kissa Kursi Ka case.

Shri B.P. Singh was the 14th Governor of Sikkim. He was appointed as Executive Director and Ambassador at the World Bank during 1999-2002 representing India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. He has been one of the founder members of the Development Gateway Foundation and member, Global Environmental Facility, Washington DC. He is also the writer of books like ‘Bahudha and the post 9/11 World ‘ and ‘The problem of Change: A study of North – East India.
