PERCEPTION TOWARDS THE PAST

? Use a series of A4 papers or a white paper booklet with UPSC prescribed margins on the right

Write one essay from each section in 1000-1200 words. Contents of answer are more important than their length. All questions carry equal 125 marks.
Section A
- “Patriotism is conviction that our country is superior to all others because we were born in it.” This form of conviction is missing in Indian people.
- India is divided not because of caste, religion language but their perception towards the past.
Section B
- It is the strong sense of identity that makes one takes pride in their language, culture, and lifestyle local wisdom is what makes the character of a country and that is missing in Indian mindset.
- The bane of India has been that it has choses politicians to represent them, not statesmen. A politician thinks of the next election. A statesman of the next generation.
