Sanna Marin becomes the youngest Prime Minister in the world @ 34
Finland Transport Minister Sanna Marin is all set to lead from the front as the youngest state head of any country. The 34 year young leader has been appointed as the Prime minister of Finland. It is expected that she will sworn in as Prime Minister this week. The achievement not only made her the youngest PM of Finland, but she will be the youngest top knot of an country in the world.
She will lead a coalition government with four other parties which all are headed by women under 35.
Marin stated in a statement that her mother had always been supportive and made her believe she could do anything she wanted. She was the only person in her family to attain the university level.

Marin tasted the success in her political journey pretty quickly during her journey with Social Democrats, which includes leading the city administration in Tampere at the age of 27 and then becoming an MP in 2015. A mother of 22 month toddle was also appointed as transport and communications minister.
Although, Marin appointed as the prime minister of Finland and four of her counterpart in the ruling coalition are women, but gender equality in Finland is still at large and women in Finnish politics are struggling to uphold their representation.

In Finnish politics women, especially the younger women played an active role. Finland give away the voting rights to women back in 1906 and become one of the first countries in Europe. They sent first women representative to parliament in 1907. Marin will be the only third women to head the government in Finland.
As appointed the state head she will be the world’s youngest sitting prime minister and share this young achievement with New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern (39) and Ukrainian premier Oleksiy Honcharuk (35).
