MS. SAPNA KUMARI is a faculty member in the Department of English at Miranda House, DU. She is also associated with the Policy Centre and Gender Lab of the college as a mentor guiding young researchers in the group. She is pursuing PhD in English, University of Delhi on the intersectionality of various factors and concerns involvinga focus on fourth wave feminism and social media activism with reference to select few writers. Before joining the University of Delhi, she had worked as a lecturer (full time) in English at Patna women’s college, autonomous institution affiliated to Patna University for over four years (2014-2018). She taught the students of UG and PG during her tenure and engaged with classes in the Community College and the department of Education as well. Her area of interest/area of competency include gender sensitization, feminist movement, young adult literature, British literature, English language, communication skills, literary theory and criticism, creative writing in English, Indian English Literature, American literature and other world literature. She has published over 13 research papers and book chapters in UGC listed peer reviewed journals and edited volumes to her name. She has also presented papers in over 12 national /International seminars /conferences and has contributed book reviews for the financial express, an affiliate of Indian express newspaper.
