Global ecological imbalance is due to the effect of man on nature, man actually knows very little about nature. If anyone has any knowledge about the environment, it is nature itself. Any activity of human being causes reduction of the quality of the environment, which is called environmental degradation and because of that, global ecological imbalance arises. Man is more important than any other organism in creating ecological imbalance because humans have some morphological features, such as walking on two legs, having an upright posture, their opposable thumbs , larger brain size, ability to compete more successfully ecologically. Apart from this, he is a tool maker, he is also the most exploitative animal as well as being an agent of doctored evolution. Man is also a dirty animal, he produces organic and synthetic wastes. Man is the only animal to maintain a constant and exponential growth of population. A fundamental discussion on all these concepts is given by India’s well-known Earth Scientist K. Siddhartha Sir .
